An even more catastrophic event than what just unfolded in Japan, be it natural or man made, (such as bombing a nuclear plant, or massive quake, far larger than what we have seen to date). The world I am guessing here, has over 1,000 nuclear reactors, 10 of which suffer impacts as dramatic as what we have just witnessed in Japan. Rain water exposes many major drinking supplies and farm lands. the seas and oceans become zones of radiation. Not enough people, money, time is left to control existing plants. The planet faces a meltdown. Higher intelligence life forms cannot habitat the land for 1 million years to come. Now, unless you live in a shell, you know this is a grave and real possibility. for any of those who want to know, degrease-rs are one of the if not "the" main source of fresh water pollution as plumes spread slowly underground, the toxic plume laying ruin to all water it reaches. Now, reports are out that a degreasing agent may be used in mass quantity to help alleviate the environmental problems created by the huge oil spill in the gulf. The powers that be say they are not sure of the environmental consequences if this agent is used. Not sure? do I need to say more?

First and foremost it is supposed to be Al-Qaeda were are fighting, not the Taliban, internal problems are supposed to be just that, if the Taliban want women to be inferior then its up to the Women of the Nation to stand up (example one) or it is up to the peoples to stand up for education and schools (example two) etc.
2nd, we spent much more trying to "liberate" Iraq then we've spent against Al-Qaeda, another waste. The question should be "what are our goals and do they benefit our freedoms without infringing upon the freedoms of others. That is supposed to be the catch all of democracy I believe. With that said the answers are none, we are holding ourselves hostage. next, so much money has been spent that the world economy is crippled and hemorrhaging, (game over we lost). and third, more than they had in their treasury, and more than the mothers of the dead could bare.

Another debacle from our "minds" leading the industry of law and business, is the freeing from inquiry, let alone justice, a man in Massachusetts who funneled over 1 billion dollars to the Bernie Madoff investment group, the genius judge stated there was not enough evidence presented to prove his guilt. 1 billion dollars invested by the "intelligent" man, and there is not enough proof? what do we need here better bullshit rhetoric than the other side to create enough proof? my god what has happened to our spineless society and its law for money attitude.
One word defines the economic problems not in just our county but the world today, War. The issue should change its name from "Health Care Bill" to the Insurance Company Profit Bill. Let me make this easy for anyone reading this to understand. Insurance Companies make as much money from your wages as Uncle Sam does in Taxes from your wages. Insurance Companies don't pay for military spending, health care for uninsured, highways, disasters, education subsidies ETC. This fact alone should make it easy to see the system is broken, i say since the insurance industry can't police itself, we as a nation should take away the private legal stealing of our wages by the insurance companies and make it totally federal, including one flat tax which covers health home car and all the other BS reasons to charge and charge and charge again for what amounts to basically same coverages triple billed, i.e. see comp insurance liability insurance, health insurance on there own and then also on auto and home policies. Health Care Reform

Let me as a small business owner (and artist) explain whats happening in the capitalist dominated insurance industry with untangle-able ties to our congressmen and woman.

1. To purchase a family plan of any value costs: 10,000.00

2. a person who earns 50,000.00 a year contributes through the employer and average of 10% of wages to Workman's comp, add another 2.5% for liability and you have about 6,000.00 going to the insurance industry, multiply that time 2 if both husband and wife work at that pay scale. The total to this point is: 10,000 + 6,000 + 6,000 = 22,000 to the insurance industry. not done yet.

3. The portion of home insurance car insurance and life insurance policies going towards extended care add up to approximately 50.00 + 50.00 for low end insurance policy, and 50.00 + 50.00 for the others, per month, = 200.00 x 12 = 2400.00 add that to the 22,000 and were now at 24,400.00 per year. not done yet.

4. now lets take and add the amount we currently pay in taxes which is going towards health care for those uninsured using the 50,000.00 dollar wage with 50% taxes, yes 50% remember your employer has a liability of 17%. 33 + 17 is 50% and you thought we weren't socialist already! o.k. out of 50% lets use a small number of 10% towards health care in some fashion or another be it medicare or coverage for the uninsured, 50% of 50,000.00 is 25,000 (yep, that's right) 10% of 25,000 is 2,500, X two wage earners is 5,000. Add 5,000 to the 24,400 and we have a whopping total of 29,400 per household earning 100,000. per year going to the health care system. This number is close to 1/3 of gross wages. or 1/2 of NET.

5. If you are wondering why the economy is floundering its because even Americans can no longer afford American wages which afford for a middle class culture. This is not do to excessive wages, it is due to a broken health care system which needs radical reform.

6. Remember the reason we carry insurance to the degree we due is as a precaution to catastrophic health issues which would cost more than a family could afford. so we go on paying these huge amounts in fear of losing everything. One last addition factor is 29,000 X 20 years paying into the system is: 580,000.00

7. NOW DO YOU KNOW WHY THE INSURANCE INDUSTRY IS FIGHTING THIS!

8. If the American government can't make this work, and it has to be health care for everyone, totally new system, no more independent paying, if the government can't make this work than greed will be the downfall of our great nation because - America can no longer afford America.

When Bank of America bought Merrill Lynch, did you stop in your tracks and say, "the biggest, strongest, smartest bank just became another broken, senseless, robbing institution which will only hasten the collapse of our current style of government and living". bailout deal

The bailout deal is the largest con in world history. Money does not evaporate, in our current case it has been stolen. Now comes the con, after stealing 800 billion from the American middle class the wealthy non productive financial planning super spending upper-class consumers want to get their hands on another 800 billion dollars for free. Let the large corporations collapse, let small business companies take root and replace them. these small companies are what made this country great, successful, leading in the world economies and social values. The Ronald Reagan administration was the beginning of Government allowing the snowball purchasing of company after company to the current state we are in. We can not allow the continuation of large corporations holding our economy hostage by there shear size . Stop the bailout and let the large corporations fold, the pain and suffering will be long and hard but the consequences are worse, it will be the end of democracy and American ideals that have been the mainstay for the free world. We need to get back to being productive creating a product, to a GNP not a GDP. The industry of trading money is for gamblers, the industry of products is for people willing to work for what they get, we need to be willing once again, I just hope there are enough of us who still know what that means.

If the price of oil by the barrel is being driven by futures trading, not supply and demand, or not by source nation pricing, then why are we discussing the need to drill for oil in Alaska and the Gulf? the price will not come down, but the environment will be in jeopardy of a large scale catastrophe. Once again we have our government engaged in propaganda to falsely scare the population into agreeing with concepts introduced solely on the merits of large corporate profits, NOT based on the well being of the peoples, or environments we hope to occupy for EVER.

The Republican Senator from Alaska has been accused of false declarations concerning gifts by oil companies to him, he is fighting the claim believing there is enough wiggle room in the laws for his defense to win and justify his "lack of knowledge" of any wrong doing. When our elected officials break the law because they believe the interpretation of the law in a court room can be manipulated enough to give a reason of doubt, enough for acquittal, when this happens our democracy becomes a feudal system. We need self governing, we need to renew the ideology that we succeed when we all succeed, fairly.

The days of the stock market are over, The Market originally was created for investing in a business with the intent of making money off of the business when it performs as you hope, productively within the economy, creating jobs and financial strength. What has happened? the answer is greed and gambling took the place of production and hard work. Our counties biggest investment became investment itself, making money not from a product but from gambling, from the trading of money itself. This path to eventual failure has been taken for the past 25 years and now it can go no further, our Government has chosen to become a business itself hoping to make money off a false economy which like the national debt seems to be something the future will have to fix. The future is here, It is time to elect people who understand life is a hard earned road to prosperity, with many desires left unfulfilled. The days of getting anything one wants just because they want it, immediately, are over. In fact the pain we will endure to right this ship, will be years and years of going without. It is time again to concentrate on conservation not consumption.

The selling of weapons by countries for profit means the cycle of endless warfare and violence will not stop. The Large economy countries such as The United States and Russia let greed stand in the way of peace. Profit by Government leads to social, political and economical injustices for all peoples who find themselves in the path of power hungry politicians.

a. global warming will see reduced emissions by 2050. - to late

b. cluster bombs will be "better designed" by 2015. - now that makes me feel better.

c. petroleum from corn uses more petroleum to grow the corn than what its worth. - senseless

d. Tax breaks may be coming for having more children. - how about tax incentives for fewer children?

and on and on it goes.

Don't believe increasing the volume of oil production per day will lower the price per barrel! Our Government and corporations have sold the future of America down the river by allowing the whole sale sell off and mergers of American companies. Now the businesses have left for lower wage workers to keep their products affordable, the layoffs due to this and loss of small business have created a short fall in our gross national product. America is now in a position where it cannot afford to buy what it makes, and neither can our trade partners, so now we import cheap sometimes lethal products, produce little ourselves, the dollar is in a free fall, oil rises in direct response to the value of the dollar and many including the leaders of this once great nation lie through there teeth and tell us all, its the production, its the Saudis, its something other than what it is!
We need to stop the buy outs and hope that small business, that which made this country great, small farms, people, not corporations can regain the status we all enjoyed when being an American was a dream of promise, something we all earned.
