Picture this, unless you live inside a shell.
An even more catastrophic event than what just unfolded in Japan, be it natural or man made, (such as bombing a nuclear plant, or massive quake, far larger than what we have seen to date). The world I am guessing here, has over 1,000 nuclear reactors, 10 of which suffer impacts as dramatic as what we have just witnessed in Japan. Rain water exposes many major drinking supplies and farm lands. the seas and oceans become zones of radiation. Not enough people, money, time is left to control existing plants. The planet faces a meltdown. Higher intelligence life forms cannot habitat the land for 1 million years to come. Now, unless you live in a shell, you know this is a grave and real possibility. Dear god inside us all, I plead let us help ourselves now.
