Creative Lifestyles

Day Tripper

Being somethings Harvest may not be so far fetched. In our clearly primitive state we grow life to harvest, meeting some conceptual human requirement.

Eyes of Disarray

The far right, so concerned with right to life, is directly responsible for atrocities, mass death and destruction. The far right can't see beyond the end of their noses for they are as ignorant as peoples can be. The actions of a few, misguiding a uneducated misguided public have altered the landscape of history in such a negative way the future may not be there to read about it. Yes I do have the answer.

Iraq Study Group's Report

If i have witnessed one thing from all of this it is: Violence begetting violence, military might as what is right, excuses for war and intolerance (all parties included here), doesn't work and will lead to extinction. We must begin again to practice rituals of peace and prayer for all peoples of all nations. We must practice these rituals not in the name of some false god or faulty ideology but instead practice them for our fellow man, ourselves, for each other, for our future. It is time to understand that some divine being is not going to stop the world from spinning just before it is to late. No, it is up to us, to find our peace and place in the great beauty of life.

The president lies, Period

If the President of the United States came on t.v. and said, "your asss is blue", half of our nation would believe him. This president lies and deceives with no apparent consequences for his words or deeds. Now half of you believe I am not telling the truth, you also believe that your asss might be blue, after all if he were to say so it must be true.

Number of American cities which could have been re-built: 20
Number of jobs generating tax revenue from these re-building projects generates another 200 billion, allowing for the re-building of 15 cities infrastructure, creating tax revenue to re-build another etc, etc, etc.

33% of Insurance Company profit goes to taxes, Make the companies non profit, or socialized and the cost of insurance makes the American work force competitive. The total insurance cost for the 5000 payroll above is; (comp, liability, health care) $4,325.00, Almost as much as the employee’s gross wages.

theatre

Theatre, what a word, for life is a theatre, a seed head of grass is a theatre, a car parked on a street is a theatre, a ketchup bottle is a theatre. For life is a constant reaction to environment, as the saying goes life is for living, for being part of the theatre. If you open a news paper and look at the pictures, the pictures chosen are chosen precisely because they contain theatre, look at the advertisements; they are chosen because they contain theatre, even a simple clothing ad for lets say Macy’s. The woe is me mentality just doesn’t cut it, the external theatre has nothing to do with the internal, for there are oh so many who’s external theatre is much more “complicated” than many others, and on, and on, and on. Today, the pharmaceutical companies, the governments, wish to create a “one” stage theatre, where the individual stage is made to be one. Today, we have an enormous substance abuse problem with people wishing to escape their theatre. Now, you may not like my theatre but to say theatre in general is for only when I must experience it is, ignorant, an escape. To wish for a blank wall is frightening. What I find interesting in all of this, and have for years is that forms of minimal art in their effort to create a simplified theatre instead create one of great response, of great reaction. For life is reaction after reaction, reaction caused by the action before which immediately changes to reaction from the moment preceding, to give way to the next reaction, there is no getting around this even in a blank wall, for the external theatre really has nothing to do with the internal. What I was saying about this piece is it doesn’t create enough theatre, (how wrong I was), I forgot that even a silent room can’t hide from being a stage.

God

A question to me and my answer.

>Humm..I dig the way you "altered" >your medium--Since the beginning of >history Man has continued to >alter his perception of God. >Just curious however, what inspired >the name?

hi, the inspiration for the name is from my firm belief that God is not a being. God is a human belief, such as the question, do you believe in God?, yes or know I do or don't BELIEVE in God. Broken down to the fundamentals is just that, a belief and only a belief. So, the inspiration is, here is something, really nothing, yet if I want to, I CAN believe it is an image of god, for beliefs sake.

Mideast crisis

The Mideast crisis, the Iraq crisis, The Sudan crisis, The Kashmir crisis. This group and that group believing their belief in something else is the right belief. When is mankind going to become intelligent enough to believe in its self. When is mankind going to stop the hatred and killing in the name of something else and begin to be responsible for their own actions being actions of their own. When will mankind stop imposing their will, their beliefs in something other than themselves upon others.
until mankind sees their actions as actions by them from them for them, with all the responsibility being theirs, we will continue to be a ignorant primitive species. And in the mean time, lets hope something as simple as Bacteria doesn't gain a consciousness which recognizes self, for you should know, it already has consciousness. It is not about having hands, legs, food, a car, a gun, a God. No, it is about "self" consciousness, and what to do with it.

seascape

Over population in history has lead to barren soils, disease, and war. Why is it the leaders of the world say nothing about controlling the populations of all societies. Is it that 8% economic growth is more important than the future?

Universal view

So my question is this. How big is life if we see size in relation to life which exists for 85 years as being infinite. From the perspective of consciousness which may be seen in one of the dimensions known in our made up time frame of 14 billion years, is life in this enormous frame so large we cannot even begin the beginnings of imagining it?.

Forgotten ways

Early Asian images come to my mind as I paint a philosophy of balance between nature and man.

Are you looking for poetry?

The interaction of mans (mankind) mind in balance with mankinds nature in how it interacts naturally with nature itself. i.e most philosophy's before western military complex philosophy forced change.

frozen particles of life

Seems everything is a mystery, why are debri from heat in the coldest universe extremes, why does consciousness penetrate into the darkest corners (of our mind) of the universe? why do we associate form with being? or absence of form, death? . Creation is such a powerful tool.

tony blair

The other day, in the paper, was stated a question answer comment with tony blair, prime minister of england. tony, do you think it was the right thing to do, going into Iraq? tony blairs response, i can't answer that, God will be the judge of that.
Now people, isn't this a nice convenient excuse? that so many use in their own divisive way. The excuse for humanity, as we fabricate it, to fit our needs. If you see this as a wrong, if you believe unless we judge ourselves for our actions now, if you believe we need to take responsibility for our own destiny as a species, read on below, and talk about it with everyone you know.

Night race

there is no honor
there is only wanting
there are no people
no sea of despairs
there is no environment
there is no earth
there are plenty of buckets
to strip till its done
then who gives a #####
with no place to run
i have no clock
tick over my head
when things run out
long after I'm dead
there's no way I can see
ignorant I am
but god made my soul
my excuse as I sin.

Global Warming

Global warming, we are blinded by the truth in the name of economic health. Ice caps are melting, black ocean now replaces white ice, speeding the action, tundra is now exposed, releasing carbon gases at a rate far greater then emissions, gangs are turning into world wide army's, entire cultures and their populations are desperate turning into anarchy, and we go on our merry way. The world is faced with a second round of dark ages, or worse if we don't accept the responsibility of our own destiny.

Vice president hunting

The Vice President hunting story goes like this, A few very Christian men go hunting, one gets shot, at his press conference he states that all of the doctors and nurses are instruments of god, working for God. Now these men Don't believe in things like stem cell research, yet their idea of fun and relaxation is to go out and kill birds, for fun. huummm. Primitive man primitive people, when will you see you are the instrument of your own creation.

False Gods

The most important metaphor of all, Do not worship false Gods. Now of course we all believe that our god is not the false one, I'm right , I'm right, etc.
Perhaps the most important metaphor passed on the mankind, to learn from, is that our spirituality is our own, we are responsible for ourselves, what we do is because of who we are. When we pray for our fellow man, as we pray to false Gods, then a real enlightenment will occur, and there will be hope for our species.
In the mean time, Wars rage on and people riot against one anouther.
Can you see the metaphor?
Can you see the future.

Doorway

Look outside your world to the whole world, Do you see a species in control of its population? or is the population in control of us? Do you see a species conserving the planet? or a species consuming the planet? Do we leave it up to someone else? or do we act for all of us?
