How about if we try for this.
Proud to be human, to care for all mankind, Attack and counter attack, gets us nowhere,
Listen and look at the world around us, the simplest form is no less simple then you, and you were not born when you think.
We must not only think, how to sustain ourselves, for that is a question of time, something that is, will always be, in windows open one time.
I'm not sure what it will take, for I see a man in a cave, not sure they can see, the shadows that fall, are from outside their man made wall. I wish you could see, where I have been, for I know how to see with my soul, you may think it false, or how can it be, but I tell you there's no shadow at all.

I like your philosophical approach to shadows! Who creates shadows - someone who absorbs light to give it later to those in need or someone who is too dark so that sun could not penetrate through?
I also have a painting where my "main characters" do not cast shadows, because their "souls" are so pure that sunlight goes right through them. You can view it at
