When I hear people, especially artists say "content is irrelevant", well it brings to light again the area of concern for peoples of the earth. I believe so many feel that content is no longer relevant because we no longer know who we are, yes we are that lost. for it is hard to express something when you have no need or desire to know what it is, instead we have become creatures of the artificial surface.

The issue for humanity

So many of us look at 911 and ask how it could have been averted. We look at New Orleans and ask why didn't we strengthen the levies long ago knowing the risks of not. The world is full of tragedy's which we all try to understand, but all to often we only look at the effect and not the cause, for the root of our problems are directly from looking for the answers from outside ourselves. Humanity must address the issue of humanity, stripped of external form and emotion so how to evacuate people does not get confused with becoming one peoples, in effect one organism. As a species we seem to accept the surface totality in what we are and may achieve, you request may be a view with art of rectangular shapes, surface symbols which touch only the surface of the problems. I am offering a glimpse of your future which in kind is mine, if you want to open the door to change, take a look.

sun and rain

you see, that is not a choice, for in the plane experiencing it or not is not a question, to only see the sun is to not experience the rain, if one does not experience the rain how does one know fully what the sun is, If one believes the sun will make their life a better place then one believes it is not themselves but instead an outside force which creates their peace. this is how god was created. you see if you look at a formula, sun, as the means to happiness then the formula becomes life itself, Almost everything you stated above is a set of "what we should do", as if these things would not happen naturally, so in fact it becomes a formula for life in stead of the moment, which undoubtedly would have led to the same, yet slightly different because it would not have been strewn with conditions, the ying is no better than the yang if you close the door to one you are out of balance, If each brings you peace, solely because that is the way it is, then this is understanding.
we are afraid of tomorrow and of others because we don't see that we are the others we are afraid of. If you believe you can force life to only see the sun, you have not accepted the rain, and thus can never truly experience all the sun has to offer.

Hi, we can talk about the levies and this and that but the problem is much deeper than the physical effect of power and greed, humanity, like the levies is on the verge of breaking, like governments inaction and blindness, what are we doing, daily, in every moment, for when we talk only amongst ourselves we might as well be talking to a wall. sorry.

it starts with forgetting everything you have been taught about god and faith. for in god and faith comes the excuse of actions being out of our control, in fact destiny becomes that of a source created by man for the purpose of control and to absolve sins simply by saying sorry. the only people running the course of our destiny is we ourselves, so long as people believe otherwise we are doomed. I am truly sorry if you want to believe that something else will give you eternal peace and look over us all in case of disaster, which oddly enough we call act of god, and I know how alone we will be without the comfort of that image, but it must go in order for us to move forward in evolution. you asked.


i didn't think you would, because of peoples fear of change, and fear of being nothing more than they are. If you think a new president is going to fix our problems than your only looking at your own. It is time for humanity to take another leap, in its history and evolution. If you think that comes about without major changes in how we see, then you are not ready, and not alone. this is soon beyond the time for band aids, so if your content with what you believe and nothing more my question to you is how long ago did you stop asking yourself to question all that you think you know? 20 years ago? in reality? better levies quicker responses more social services war only when necessary more jobs better jobs fuel efficient cars, do you really think that is what will be advancing mankind?

now if today you say, I'm going to get by with looking into my pretty flowers today and that will make it alright, for me, well that's o.k. most of the people are doing the same, it is to see that emotion has nothing to do with happiness or state of being, you think dark painting is dark emotion or dark point of view, you see I don't let the notion of dark create a bias from what happens naturally, In discussing mankind's problems I am no less happy or sad then when looking at a picture of a pretty flower, emotion does not enter into the equation of life, for me, I guess you can call me spock. but until emotion is not judged for it fuels religions, bias, hate, love, god, etc. but is only a piece of being not the being itself, until then we stay put, look how we all do something to make us happy, what is happy? just an emotion, which, fundamentally has nothing to do with life, and neither does death, or pain or orgasm or a good sale day. they are what they are and should be viewed as nothing more than that, it is not the trigger, or the response, it is the witness to life in the cycle itself.

National guard

Hello,
I know this is an art blog but,,, I want to make a simple comment on a "not so simple" situation.
Once again our commander in chief has failed in the name of our national interest. The reason why the national guard took so long to mobilize in the gulf coast is, they are, for the most part, in Iraq. Our national guard is supposed to be available for national care in circumstances such as the most recent hurricane. In the misconstrued name of national defense, "the Iraq war", our leaders have failed us at every turn with their misjudgment. In my life, I have never seen so many failures, in National, Domestic, foreign, economic or Environmental policies under one administrations watch. As a result our country and the world have entered a state of crisis.
While on the subject, for those who don't understand the impact of global warming here is a comparison. The Gulf waters are 3 to 4 degree's above normal. The earth is a living organism much like yourself. What happens to you, or any living thing for that matter when your temperature is elevated by just 3 degrees. It is time for mankind to examine themselves, cancer kills its host.

If cave paintings were of compassion

Sometimes I wonder what we are going to leave for others to see. Perhaps we don't believe in evolution, perhaps we don't have time, to believe that we don't know. Perhaps if we didn't believe we are the chosen ones knowing all the answers, then perhaps that would be to hard to believe. All I ask is, just look around, at the world, at humanity. Is it that we don't have time to wonder? Not much time has passed since our legacy was that of the hunt, of merely survival.

sowing the seed of life

If the decision process is still on going here is a bit which can put me on either side.
Here's a thought I just had while working on my house, lets see if I can verbalize it.
Our concept of god, all consciousness, always knows what we do,
Our current view on physics, there is no now, past or future. True, odd but that’s where they’ve come to.
The big bang, our concept of the beginning of time.

God or whatever the heck it was contained all consciousness that we experience (all of us in all time) it was the creator of consciousness as we know it, but this was its consciousness. Something went awry whether it is death or something we can’t imagine and BANG! all of its consciousness was released and we have the beginning of time, but time is only consciousness from something else so it doesn't exist in the now, and because of its form, the past or future either, so here we are a drift thinking that something is watching over us yet that something is exactly what we are, so in effect we are alone in its consciousness and it isn't going to save the world. So now we are the creators or re-creators and here we go again, remember what I said about heaven and hell? so how does it feel to be nothing but the figment of something’s imagination, and it isn't even here anymore, it also give credit to the collective consciousness, it you think about it almost explains all the metaphors for religions and life, now for the even more interesting part, there is a molecule in you and me which is the door to all things, it even gives credit to Gandhi don't kill that fly! So are you also looking for that molecule in you called creation?

the big bang of consciousness

The answer to what is heaven or hell.
Our lives are spent creating, each moment each act of consciousness is a creation, ever lasting in eternity. To live our lives with compassion, caring, love, respect, free from judging and divisive acts becoming pieces of the universe, this is heaven eternal, the fabric of life beyond our awareness'. If we can all understand this the concept of our actions, words and deeds being that which we are, in wave upon wave for all eternity, then for each of us how we live and act may take on a new meaning, for heaven and hell are real. When meaning beyond the abstract is found, to see that we are the creators and what we create is forever, then this understanding becomes a meaning which may change the world, for who you are in each moment is timeless and eternal. end.
